A team culture, one that accurately reflects and aligns to the organization's core culture, is an essential ingredient to success. Defining and leveraging an organization's culture is a must in the design of any program intended to have a lasting effect.

Whether working with a team that may be struggling or helping a team that is already functioning and wishes to move to the next level, Living Change customizes an approach to fit the unique culture and needs of each client. Living Change works directly with CEOs and managers, helping to define their priorities and processes. This removes barriers to performance and establishes mutual accountability, clear roles, articulated and agreed upon performance measurements, while building the trust required for open communication and the constructive management of conflict among its members.

Unlike many consulting and teambuilding firms, Living Change takes the approach that the team's development, and each member's development, needs to be tied directly to the strategic initiatives of the organization.

 



This helps avoid confusion, focuses the team on business issues, and results in better collaborative problem-solving and improved decision-making.

Living Change's work with leaders and their teams typically begins with assessment of the team's core culture, the diversity and styles of the team members, and a review of organizational and team strategies. This is followed by an offsite meeting (typically one to two days) to address the team's performance issues, gaps in team process, and needs for development. This process is furthered by individual skill development and action planning, with commitments for each member of the team, as well as the actions agreed upon for the entire team.

To ensure the team's development continues, the initial phase of work is supported by follow-up service including tools, coaching, and ongoing leadership development support.
